We have all heard for several days now that Secretary of War, Pete Hegseth, has committed war crimes in the deaths of Venezuelan drug smugglers. WARCRIMES? There has been no WARdeclared by the USA against any country. I find it extremely difficult to charge anyone with “war crimes” without a war being declared. These charges were made by the now leftwing Communists we once knew as Democrats. The majority of DemonRat voters either haven’t yet recognized that transformation of their political party, or they just don’t care. Regardless of their reasoning, their continued participation makes them ideologically anti-Constitutional, anti-American and therefore anti-individual freedoms.
MURDER? Illegal Venezuelan drugs kill/murder tens ofthousands of Americans every year from illicit drug use! Yes, most of those deaths are the result of bad choices, yet we do not label them suicides. The elimination of drug smugglers in international waters is an act of protection of American lives. As I gazed into my crystal ball this morning, I saw the potential for impending acts of terrorism in the USA’s foreseeable future! Do not be surprised or unprepared for such occurrences, as the foundation for such acts was laid during the socialist governmental entity known as the “Biden” Administration (Jan 2021-Jan 2025). Reported figures in the available sources include roughly 8–10+ million southern border encounters since Jan 2021 (CBP-based reporting) and analysts’ estimates that some 6.7 million to 6–10 million people illegally “entered” or became part of the unauthorized population during the “Biden” years.

At this point in that ideological transition the United States is the strongest of a double handful of nations that are withholding their sovereignty. Waiting for the right moment is the procrastinator’s favorite excuse for ignoring that particular moment in time to perform an action of some type. I’ve just found 10,000 ways that won’t work,” emphasizing that failure is a valuable part of the learning process. He viewed each unsuccessful attempt as a step toward eventual success, highlighting the importance of perseverance in innovation.
There are of course, certain actions that may take some personal preparation and insight. A marriage proposal is one where many people (mostly romantics) feel the need for soft music, candles, and flowers to support a successful proposal.
And, there are other situations where quick action is virtually demanded. For example, your medical professional tells you that you require a significant surgery procedure to remain among the living. If you prefer living to the alternative condition, procrastination is not your friend. Other than perhaps getting a second opinion, there should be no hesitation on your part.
If you have a difficult and uncomfortable action needed, “waiting for the right moment” will not work well for you. Actions of that type usually fail to get easier and/or more comfortable with the passage of time. Some people put it off in the hope that it will become unnecessary, or better yet, forgotten! What it is most likely to become is an emotional irritant, constantly nagging at you and keeping you off your normal ‘game’. People will notice changes in your behavior, and you will likely get unwanted questions about those changes, along with both sincere and insincere offers to attempt to help you find the old you.

Most people have had a significant level of trust in the news media, both printed and broadcast. However, with the imposition of AI, a tool which in the control of any government can create a “truth” which is a tool for control of the masses, as opposed to factual reality. The intelligent members of our socienty, have known for decades that all governments invariably bend the news in its favor to minimize social reaction, and avoid potential civil unrest.
Unfortunately, and inasmuch as the “truth” in reality has several variants, we must trust our abilities to observe and critically evaluste that which we see and hear. We must accept that any “universal truth” is known to a relatively small number of people – perhaps a dozen or so – therefore we tend to believe our “personal truth“, which we freely share amongst family, friends and random individuals whom we assume are interested in our understandings of the world. That creates the “group truth”, which may or may not eventually become the “societal truth”. Any and all of these “truths” carry – to varying degrees – a level of acceptance. A charismatic leader can influence great numbers of followers to accept his/her point of view… like the MAGA movement under Donald Trump.

However, in the world of psychology “cult” is described somewhat differently. Inasmuch as the desire to join a cult is a thought process which occurs in the mind, I tend to lean toward that description. “Destructive individuals and cults use deception and undue influence to make people dependent and obedient. A group should not be considered a cult merely because of its unorthodox beliefs. It is typically authoritarian, headed by a person or group of people with near complete control of followers. Cult influence is designed to disrupt a person’s authentic identity and replace it with a new identity.” Understanding that politics is exactly about control and influence, ones political persuasion is based upon which form of governance one wishes to be controlled by.

I am in my ninth decade on this planet, and I have paid fairly close attention since reaching the age of understanding. I believe that our current president – Donald J. Trump – is unquestionably the best leader our Republic has had since George Washington… or at least in my lifetime. I was born to be a Conservative, politically and emotionally. I am not enthusiastic about governmental overspending, or many of the social control mechanisms. Social control can include laws and punishments, such as prison sentences and fines. These are formal social control mechanisms which are often enforced by the government. Social control also includes informal strategies, such as shaming, stigmatizing, or social exclusion, which are often applied by one’s peers or social group. In addition to negative strategies such as stigmatizing and punishing, positive reactions such as praising or promoting are also parts of social control.

Shaming: Shaming is an informal way of social control. It is often applied by someone’s peers, social group or society to discourage their behaviors or attitudes that are seen as socially unacceptable.
Praising: Praise is an informal social control strategy which often takes place in interpersonal contexts. It is a way to encourage the continuity of a behavior or stance, such as academic success or political activism.
Job promotion: Promoting an employee is a way of social control applied to ensure that they keep improving their job performance and undertake increased work responsibilities.
Curfews: Curfews are methods of social control that ban people from leaving their house after a particular hour.
